Let your kids enjoy the ultimate backyard fun with the KidKraft Lookout Extreme Play set! Boasting a paramount three stories to accommodate up to 16 kids at a time, this adventure station includes a trio of slides, swings and multiple ways to climb to the top. Kids will ever be bored since there are so many options for play in this playset. They can opt for a belt swing or an acro bar to soar to new heights. A double ride slide lets friends challenge each other to a race.

For an even more thrilling ride, they can try out the Twist-n-Ride tube slide. The lower clubhouse welcomes guests with a windowed door and ringing bell. Kids will love the play BBQ cooking area with sink. A hanging pot, pan and spatula is included to complete the chef experience. When it's time to ascend to the second level, kids can choose between varying degrees of climbing excitement. For the tamer crowd, a ladder with hand rails is located around the back of the structure. There's also an easily accessible rope ladder to the right for a bit more of a challenge.

For older kids who prefer to live on the wild side, they can practice their monkeying skills on the rock wall with included climbing rope for a true jungle vibe. The shiplap roof provides welcome shade in the upper clubhouse to allow for hours of imaginative play. Truly, the most fun on this structure could be the third-story lookout deck. Outfitted with a steering wheel, telescope and flag, it's ready to navigate play into unexplored territory.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    Ask a Question
    • Hi, what are the width and length of the main structure and how far should each side be from the ends of the safety zone? I want to make sure I position it correctly, but the instructions only show the dimensions when everything is set up

      The assembled playset measures 19'.4" L x 12'.8" W with a recommended safety zone of 32'.4" x 27'.11" W.

    • What are the dimensions are for the wooden structure? I need the dimensions so I can prepare the area for the wooden structure to be placed on a rubber flooring/tiles.

Hi there, The deck size is 63" x 36".

    • We don't have room for the swing bar. It is possible to install without the swing bar? House platform only?

The playset is designed and safety tested to be assembled as shown only. Any modifications made to the original product could damage the structural integrity of the unit leading to failure and possible injury.

    • Just to confirm, staining is not needed upon delivery, right? It is just recommended after one year on an annual basis?

That is correct. At the KidKraft factory, they have coated the wood with a water repellent or stain. This coating decreases the amount of water absorption during rain or snow thus decreasing the tension in the wood. Sunlight will break down the coating, applying a water repellant or stain on a yearly basis is important maintenance.
