Shipping and Returns Policies
Our goal is to ship your order and reach your home as soon as possible.
Once your order is placed via our online store, you will immediately receive a confirmation email. The confirmation email tells you that we have well received your order and that we will pre-authorize your credit card. The confirmation email will not have tracking information as it normally takes 1 to 2 business days for us to process your order and another 1 to 2 weeks to ship out your ordered item. If your order is out of stock, we will reach out to you via email.
If your order is in stock and we process the charges with your credit card, it will normally ship in 1 to 2 weeks from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information as soon as your order leaving the warehouse to your e-mail address. We distribute via FedEx, UPS Freight, DHL etc. and you will be provided with a tracking number. If you do not receive tracking information from us within 5 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at email@example.com.
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will either (a) immediately replace the damaged parts; (b) file a warranty claim on your behalf with the manufacturer or; (c) ask you to contact the manufacturer directly.
It is so easy and hassle-free to cancel the order before it gets shipped. Simply send an email to email@example.com stating that you want to cancel your order. Please make sure that you include your name, your order number and a reason for the cancellation. One of our customer representatives will contact you to confirm the details.
All orders cancelled within 72 hours of placing the order at www.buykidsplayhouse.com will be honored with no cancellation fee. If you decide to cancel your order after 72 hours, you will be charged a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.
If your order has shipped, is currently in transit, and you decide that you want to cancel your order, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then contact the freight or shipping carrier, to return the order back to our warehouse. A one-time $40 restocking fee plus the return freight charge (to be quoted at the time of return) will apply if the order has shipped.
Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
We only allow returns for unopened items. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Please expect additional instructions for your return 1-3 business days after your initial contact with our customer service team. Our team must coordinate the return with the manufacturer, the customer and the freight carrier. Please do not automatically send your purchase back to the manufacturer and remember to contact us first.
Please note that we will not pay for shipping if you decide to return any item purchased from our online store. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will facilitate the process as much as possible and help customers find a carrier for pick up at the buyer's home or a drop off at the carrier location. Additionally, a restocking fee of $40 may apply depending on the situation. Again, we will provide any assistance necessary during this hectic process. Depending if your will be charged any administration fees or restocking fees, The Playground Shop will deduct these fees from your refund. Any type of refund (full or partial) will take 1 – 3 business days to be credited to the account holder. A confirmation email with the details of the refund will be sent immediately.
